We work with your school to integrate your curriculum, school motto and language into our live shows. We weave concepts from Open Circle, Educators for Social Responsibility, Second Step, Life Skills and Community of Caring into Lesley Smith's interactive sign language songs and full length theatrical puppet shows. Outstanding and talented musicians provide the live musical backdrop for the puppets and opening music. They include Jimmy MacDougall performing on vocals and keyboards and Cheryl Lynne Stromski performing on vocals and keyboards. The performances combine curricula, humor, ventriloquism and audience participation to create a terrific and transfixing show! You receive advance and follow-up materials, optional pre and post tests and a School Songs CD for the classroom. Performances are scheduled during the school day or on weekends and evenings for family learning and community celebrations. Shows are 50 minutes and suitable for up to 500 students for prekindergarten through sixth grade. Our programs can be geared for mixed age groups and have been successfully performed for up to 8th grade. Preassembly programs are offered for older students at no extra charge and include career talk, back stage tour and Q & A.
